BAW002F BALLUFF AUTOMATION

Our BAW inductive distance sensors measure different positions as well as distances and can also discriminate between various types of materials. They operate contactless, thus having no wear and are characterized by a high longevity. Their Teach function features an adjustable linearity range, allowing for quick commissioning during the initial installation and ensuring minimal downtime during sensor replacement. Thanks to the variety of available construction forms, inductive distance sensors can be easily integrated into any application. Among the most important fields of application are monitoring movements in joining devices, punching, or tightening in the mechanical industry, or detecting imbalances and expansions of shafts. Inductive distance sensors provide an absolute analog signal of voltage, current, or IO-Link. The special features include compact, robust, and reliable characteristics without wear due to the contactless principle of absolute measurement, measurement ranges from 0.2 to 50 mm, also teachable, short response time, and high repeatability precision and linearity, a wide temperature range, low temperature drift, and easy use thanks to analog interfaces and IO-Link
