SCHNEIDER ELECTRIC Regulated switching power supply - Three phase - 400 V AC - 24 V - 20 A ABL8WPS24200 Universal stabilized switching power supply, intended for powering, in 24 V DC, the auxiliary circuits of automation systems. Compact, and with switching technology, it guarantees a high degree of stability of the output voltage and represents the ideal complement for the Modicon M340, Premium and Quantum ranges. Additional functional modules can be associated in order to guarantee continuity of service and at the same time be able to discriminate the protection of the powered systems. It guarantees an output voltage equal to the nominal value of 24 V DC ±3%, regardless of the load (from empty to full load) and for any mains supply. Compliant with IEC standards and UL, CSA and TUV approved, it is suitable for universal use. It has protections that ensure optimal operation of the control and automation system. The protection operating mode can be configured according to your specific application needs: • Manual reset protection mode: following a defect that involves a current absorption higher than the nominal value, priority will be given to the output voltage: the power supply will stop completely before the voltage supplied can drop below 21 V DC. In this way, unwanted variations in the logical states of the PLC and powered actuators will be avoided. • Automatic reset protection mode: priority is given to the current to allow, for example, fault finding, or to guarantee continuity of service until the arrival of maintenance workers. When the defect appears, the nominal current continues to be supplied but at a voltage significantly lower than the nominal one of 24 V DC. When the fault disappears the voltage returns to its nominal value. Phaseo Universal power supplies also have a power reserve that allows them to supply a current of 1.5 In at regular intervals; in this way it is possible to avoid oversizing the power supply if devices characterized by high inrush currents must be powered. The diagnostic function of Phaseo Universal power supplies is shown on the front of the product via signaling LEDs (Uout and Iout) and via a potential-free relay contact which allows remote control. All Phaseo Universal power supplies are equipped with a potentiometer for regulating the output voltage to compensate for voltage drops along long cables.
