As part of the SINAMICS G120 frequency converter (composed of power part, control unit, operator panel), the Power Modules PM240-2 (protection degree IP20) feature a braking chopper (four-quadrant applications) and are particularly suitable for numerous applications in generic machine construction.\nThe power part PM240-2 easily combines with various control units (Control Unit) depending on the type of application and safety requirements (e.g., STO, SS1, SBC, SLS, SDI, SSM). Together with the Control Units CU230-2, CU240x-2, and CU250S-2, a fully operational SINAMICS G120 frequency converter is achieved. The PM240-2 with protection degree IP20 is a built-in device for electrical cabinets with powers from 0.55 kW to 250 kW and voltage variants of 200 V, 400 V, and 690 V. The Power Modules are available without a filter or with an integrated Class A network filter in seven construction sizes, from FSA to FSG.
