The AF40 ... AF96 contactors are mainly used for the control of three-phase motors and circuits with power up to 690 V AC. and 220V d.c. These contactors have a block design with 3 main poles. – control circuit: AC operation or d.c. with electronic coil interface accepting a wide range of control voltages (e.g. 100...250 V AC and DC), only 4 coils to cover all control voltages between 24...500 V 50/ 60 Hz and 20...500 V DC - can handle large variations in control voltages - low switchgear energy consumption - very distinct closing and opening – built-in surge suppression – additional auxiliary contact blocks with front or side mounting and a wide range of accessories.
