As part of the SINAMICS G120 frequency converter (consisting of power section, control unit, operator panel), the PM240-2 Power Modules (degree of protection IP20) have a braking chopper (four-quadrant applications) and are particularly suitable for numerous applications in general machine building.\nThe PM240-2 power unit can be easily combined with different Control Units depending on the type of application and safety requirements (e.g. STO, SS1, SBC , SLS, SDI, SSM). Together with the CU230-2, CU240x-2 and CU250S-2 Control Units, this results in a fully operational SINAMICS G120 frequency converter. The PM240-2 with IP20 protection rating is a built-in device for electrical cabinets with powers from 0.55 kW to 250 kW and three voltage variants 200 V, 400 V and 690 V. The Power Modules are available without filter or with integrated Class A mains filter and in seven frame sizes, from FSA to FSG. To evacuate the dissipated heat from the control panel, the power section is also available as a Push-Through variant. The frame sizes also offer Safety Integrated functionality. Thanks to the robust design, cable lengths of up to 450 m can be achieved (frame size FSF/FSG). For EMC-compliant wiring, shield plates and connection kits can be used. SINAMICS - the drive for me.
