It enables minimum bus cycle times and very fast response times even for large quantity structures. The distributed I/O system is particularly easy to install, wire and commission. Thanks to the scalable structure, the peripheral station can be customized exactly to the needs on site. The technology units offer hardware-level signal preprocessing for fast counting, exact measurement, position detection and pulse width modulation for a variety of transducers and actuators as well as for the control of stepper motor drives and servo drives via interface PTI.
