Standard modules can be deactivated for safety-oriented groups. The I/O modules represent the interface of the SIMATIC ET 200AL to the process. They are available as digital and analog input or output modules as well as mixed (digital) modules. The sensors are connected using the M8 or M12 connection technology. The modules can be optionally connected to PROFINET or PROFIBUS or integrated into SIMATIC ET 200SP.
