The product is part of the XPS Universal range of security modules. It is designed for monitoring emergency stops, safety, magnetic, proximity or RFID safety switches, PNP sensors, safety barriers, two-hand control stations or hold-open control switches. The safety module is powered by 24V AC/DC and equipped with an extractable screw terminal. It can transmit more than 40 different status messages from the module output to a standard digital input of a PLC, reducing machine downtime and indicating the cause of the production stoppage. The safety module includes 2 safety inputs, 3 configurable ON/OFF pulse outputs, 2 NO safety outputs and 1 diagnostic output with complete status information. The maximum safety level achieved by this safety module is PLe/Category 4 compliant with ISO 13849-1, SILCL 3 compliant with IEC 62061, SIL 3 compliant with IEC 61508.
