The mixed safety I/O expansion module Modicon MCM has 8 digital inputs, 2 start/restart inputs, 2 pairs of OSSD outputs, 4 test outputs, and 2 status outputs; it also includes spring terminals. It is designed for remote monitoring of safety I/Os. It features removable spring terminals for electrical connection. The product has an IP20 protection rating. The mixed safety I/O module has configurable filters and delays for each single input, configurable activation and deactivation delays for the output. It also allows independent control of output pairs and configurable diagnostic output signals. The module is equipped with LEDs on the front side, which allow the status to be displayed (power, operation, internal or external errors, input and output status).
