The Modicon MCM safety output expansion module has 16 digital outputs with SIL 1/PLc status and is equipped with screw terminals. It is designed to remotely monitor safety I/Os. It features removable screw terminals for electrical connection. The product has an IP20 protection rating. The safety I/O module has configurable activation and deactivation delays for the output. It also allows independent control of pairs of outputs and configurable diagnostic output signals. The module is equipped with LEDs on the front side that allow for status visualization (power, operation, internal or external errors, input and output status). The safety I/O module is connected to the safety CPU via the backplane expansion connector. Weight: 0.145 kg. Dimensions: 22.5 mm (depth), 99 mm (height), and 114.5 mm (width). The housing is red. The compatible accessories for the Modicon MCM module are the memory card and the rear connector. The module is installed on a 35 mm Omega DIN rail compliant with EN 50022. It provides flexibility and scalability from 8 inputs, 2 dual-channel outputs/4 single-channel outputs up to 128 inputs, 16 dual-channel outputs/32 single-channel outputs, up to 32 or 48 signaling outputs.
