This redundant Safety processor is part of the Modicon M580 range, an offer of Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC) and safety Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) with built-in Ethernet. This product offers a maximum of 8 remote rack configuration with up to 8192 discrete I/O channels and 2048 analog I/O channels. This Safety product is coated and is compatible with a temperature range from -25°C to +60°C/-13°F to 140°F. It is equipped with 1 Ethernet port for service, 2 Ethernet ports for ring remote I/O network (Remote IO racks only) and 1 USB type mini B for programming console. RJ45 (490NAC0100) and FO singlemode (490NAC0201) connectors can be used with this redundant cpu. The CPU must be installed in the rack slots marked 00 and 01, with 2 screws on top of the CPU to maintain the module on the rack. This product can be used in combination withModicon X80 (I/O, backplane, cable) and works with the EcoStruxure Control Expert programming software.
