The Altivar 320 Schneider Electric variable speed drive is capable of powering 3-phase synchronous and asynchronous power motors with a nominal power of up to 7.5kilowatts/10 horsepower and a nominal voltage of 380 to 500Vac. This variable speed drive/frequency drive (VSD / VFD) is designed for simple industrial and commercial machines, such as packaging, material handling machinery, mechanical actuators and lifting devices. Its Book form factor helps reduce machine footprint, especially when mounted in an electrical cabinet next to other control devices such as PLCs, I/O units. Advanced connectivity, including CANopen and Modbus, enables deep integration into automation architectures without the use of additional networking equipment.
