MS132 Motor protection switch with thermal and magnetic protection. Motor protection switches (MMS) are protective devices for main circuits. They combine control and protection in a single device. The motor protection switches integrate in the same device the functions of ON/OFF control, automatic protection for overload, short circuit and phase loss in three-phase asynchronous motors. With the use of motor protection switches, the use of fuses for short circuit protection is avoided, thus resulting in both dimensional and economic savings. Motor protectors can be equipped with a wide range of accessories. The BEA connection kits guarantee a safe and rapid connection between the motor protectors and the ABB contactors. Application: • Short circuit protection • Overload protection • Class 10A tripping • Sensitivity to phase loss • Suitable for isolation • Suitable for three-phase and single-phase applications
